We were honored to welcome Kevin Shaw, Editor-in-Chief of Mopar Connection Magazine, into our shop for an in-depth tour of our facility here in Van Nuys, California. His visit turned into an incredible behind-the-scenes video showcasing what makes Just Dashes the leader in dashboard and interior restoration since 1981.

In the tour, Kevin followed the restoration of “Marsha,” his 1970 Plymouth Fury III convertible, through every step of our detailed, hands-on process—from media blasting and foam shaping to vacuum forming, vinyl dyeing, and final trim work. As Kevin noted, our work is “true restoration artwork.” Every dashboard is rebuilt by hand, shaped by skilled artisans, and restored to exact factory specifications—or even better.

“This is not something spat out of a mold or printed on a machine. This is handmade craftsmanship… You’re going to pay for it, but the proof is in the final product.” – Kevin Shaw, Mopar Connection

The video captures the heart of what we do: honoring the originality of rare, vintage, and often irreplaceable interior components. Whether it’s a ’63 Thunderbird, a Porsche, or a full Suburban interior—if it’s something you love and you want it restored right, you come to Just Dashes.

We invite you to check out the full video feature and see for yourself why Just Dashes continues to set the bar in automotive interior restoration.
