1979 Toyota Corolla Dashboard Restoration

We recently completed a dashboard restoration on a 1979 Toyota Corolla, and this one came with a bit of extra character—specifically, rust. Like many vintage imports, the underside of the dash had seen better days, with corrosion creeping in after decades of use and storage.

To bring it back to life, we started with a thorough bead blasting process. This allowed us to strip the rust from the underside of the dash without damaging the surrounding structure. Once cleaned we moved on to the foam shaping and vinyl work that gives every Just Dashes restoration its signature look.
