Van Nuys, CA: In 1975, John DeLorean of Pontiac GTO fame founded the DeLorean Motor Car Company, which started building cars in 1981 in Northern Ireland. Just over 9000 cars were manufactured before its close in '82, and it's estimated that approximately 6000 have survived. This dash is from a 1982 model and has undergone a complete restoration at JUST DASHES. Famous for its unpainted stainless steel body and gull-wing doors, the DeLorean has become a cult collector car.
