Over Labor Day weekend 2006, the Primer Nationals car and motorcycle show was held at the Ventura Fair Grounds in Ventura, CA. Intrigued by this rust loving phenomenon, we cruised to the show hoping to be surprised. We were not only surprised, but we were entertained as well.

After twenty-one years of experience they have perfected a show that draws entrants from most of the surrounding states.…The show is held the first weekend of August under Ponderosa Pine trees at Drake Park…a four-day event featuring lots of cruisin', street dancing, live radio broadcasts and TV coverage, raffles, great trophies and a scenic trip up Mount Bachelor.
