The center section is now positioned
on the machine and prepared for the
vinyl application. It is supported
at all critical areas by wooden blocks
so the force of the vacuum pulling
down the vinyl doesn't contort the
fiberglass. |

The new vinyl is now permanently
applied. Notice the rough areas outside
the edges of the center section. All
this excess is trimmed off when the
piece is removed from the machine.

The center section is now hand
finished as were the pods. The vinyl
will wrap inside all the holes and
control slots so your clock and temperature
controls will fit right back in, not
mention the radio being able to go
home again. |

Here is the finished center section
with pods attached. As you can see
it is perfectly restored and ready
to be reinstalled in your Corvette.

The fit between the pods
and center section is flawless.
Notice how clean all the edges
have been finished. This is
important for a correct fit
back into the 'Vette. Too
much material might cause
unwanted gaps to appear.
